WOW...what a weekend. The Falcons spent the Columbus Day weekend 10/8 and 10/9 participating in two Tournaments. The first day was hosted by the Parkland Area Soccer Club and in true Falcon fashion they placed first in the U12 boys division. This is especially exciting since most of the boys on the team are of only U10 age. Coach Ivor has been training them hard and they were ready for this weekend. Congratulations to the rest of the teams. It was also an awsome day to play soccer. Falcon parents came together and set-up a nice place for everyone to relax between games

Second day was spent a the First Annual UMYA Soccer Tournament. This was a tougher day for the Falcons and although they pulled out mostly wins, they faced a tougher team in the afternoon and lost one game. As luck would have it they achieved enough points to play in the championship round underneath the lights at the East Side Youth Center. Their opponent was indeed the Mini Mustangs the team they lost to ealier in the day.
The 7pm game rolled around and the Falcons were ready. It was 0-0 well into the second half of the game. There was nobody sitting down for this game. Although they played their hearts out, they lost a free kick off a handball call. There is no doubt the Falcons rallied from their ealier loss and played the best soccer I've seen them play. Congratulations to the first place Mini Mustangs and a hearty congratulations to the Bethlehem Falcons!
